Job Summary: Performs a variety of maintenance duties for the entire facility, as assigned. Primary Duties (5-7 Key responsibilities) Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains, and repairs equipment, systems and facilities related to any craft or combination of the same, using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment. Performs other semi-skilled and skilled work in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, machinist work, etc. Analyzes and correct building system problems, alone or as part of a team. Cleans and lubricates machinery and equipment Disassembles and assembles equipment when there is a problem Performs testing of equipment to ensure proper operations Reads and interprets technical manuals to understand controls Repair or replaces malfunctioning or broken components Assists in the completion of all normal and minor repairs and reports major problems to Supervisor Responds to emergency problems in the facility and makes emergency repairs as needed Maintain CMMS records for personal activity and machine activity Assists in the completion of all normal and minor repairs and reports major problems to Supervisor Responds to emergency problems in the facility and makes emergency repairs as needed Maintain reporting logs for personal activity and machine activity Serves as a member of the fire response team.
