Position Responsibilities Deltek is searching for a Marketing Events Specialist to support the marketing organization. This position is remote but being based in the DC area is a plus due to local event programming. We are seeking someone with strong organizational skills, that is a quick learner and self-motivated, able to refine processes as needed to maximize effectiveness, and has strong communication skills. This position will support marketing programs and projects with a main emphasis on webinar creation and execution. This position requires an individual who is a team player and always willing to pitch in. Work closely with department leadership and provide critical administrative support. Become familiar with our webinar platform, ON24 and manage webinars from planning through execution.Own logistics for internal and external webinars, including leading prep calls with speakers, collecting required content deliverables, and executing the webinar on the day of the event.Must work well under pressure and be a quick learner of new technologies. Able to project manage ad-hoc marketing initiatives, provide regular status updates to management, and stay on top of tasks with minimal supervision. Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results. Be accountable for becoming a trusted, reliable, and successful member of our marketing support staff. Leverage Deltek technologies including CVENT, Salesforce, On24, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.Support other team members on other events and marketing initiatives.Eager to jump in and help with ad hoc marketing projects and events including onsite support.Willing to continuously learn and grow skillsets to efficiently and creatively up-level customer event experiences and marketing activities.Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Business. 2-5 years of marketing and/or event experience. Solid computer skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently with strong attention to detail. Strong organization and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and priorities while remaining flexible and open to continuous growth and improvement. Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and be able to interface with internal stakeholders, external vendors and customers at all organizational levels. Written and spoken communication that is clear and concise. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are critical. Works well independently and within a team environment and has a "can do" attitude. Passion for learning new and emerging technology trends in relation to creating memorable customer experiences.
