The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. POSITION CLASSIFICATION Registered Nurse ROTATION WEEK #1 Wednsday WEEK #2: Monday, Friday, Saturday REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to the Director of Care SUMMARY OF FUNCTION The registered nurse works as a member of the health care team, coordinating the delivery of comprehensive, individualized care to the Residents of Golden Links Lodge. The Registered Nurse functions under the provisions of the Registered Nurses’ Act, CRNM Standards of Practice, CNA Code of Ethics, MB Health Standards and the Mission, Vision, Values and policies of Golden Links Lodge. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. Certificate in Gerontology an asset. Experience: Current clinical experience in Medical nursing and/or Gerontology preferred. Personal: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to function in a computerized environment (including MDS, MS Office, etc. ) Ability to work with minimal supervision. Mental/physical health to meet the demands/stresses of the position.
