LifeBridge Partnership is not just looking for drivers, but friends, mentors and advocates -- people who will have initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail and accuracy. As a driver, you will: - Bring the group to programs, and stay with the group during programs.- Comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.- Be responsible for keeping the vehicles in excellent operating condition, which includes daily safety inspections of each vehicle, and reporting maintenance needs to the Transportation Coordinator. You must keep the vehicle clean at all times, which may include washing the vehicle exterior and cleaning the vehicle interior.- Complete required paperwork.- Attend routine meetings and training sessions.- Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- Must be a minimum of 20 years of age.- High school diploma or GED, and must satisfy SSA and DHS E-Verify requirements.- Must pass Family Care Safety Registry background check.- Must commit to a drug and alcohol free workplace under 49 CFR Parts 40 and 655, including initial and random drug and alcohol DOT testing.- Class E or CDL license must be secured within two weeks of hire, and there must be a clean driving history. - First Aid/CPR will be provided at the expense of the employer.- Physical demands include sitting, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.LIFEBRIDGE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICYLifeBridge Partnership is committed to non-discrimination in its employment and volunteer opportunities and in the delivery of support services to participants.
