Basic Function: Responsible for direct oversight of School & Youth recruitment calling efforts and assists in implementation of other fundraising activities for the LLS School & Youth Programs ( www.schoolandyouth.org ) as directed. Works under the supervision, direction, and training of S&Y Campaign Director to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities and meet or exceed revenue goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for oversight of team of temporary staff placing recruitment calls for the School & Youth Program. Duties include:- Meets with S&Y Director daily to report on the day's progress, provide the statistics report and call attention to any performance issues- Is willing and able to recruit schools if needed- Reviews temporary staff's call lists and data entry on a daily basis to evaluate progress and identify errors- Meets with all temporary staff at the start of their shift as a group (am & afternoon shift) to review progress, goals and motivate team for the day.- Is main point of contact for S&Y temporary team questions - Pulls recruitment and call volume statistics daily and analyzes for trends and concerns- Provides daily oversight, coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to temporary team to ensure each team player achieves contact and recruitment goals, and to ensure overall recruitment goals and overall goals for scheduled school meetings are met for each area Prepares S&Y campaign correspondence for temporary team on as needed basis (canned emails, scripts, etc) Actively participates in school communication calls to increase participation of registered schools Ensure donations are received to the LLS office in a timely manner. Maintain a current expertise of the LLS mission and its programs to address them. Qualifications: Excellent oral and written correspondence High degree of organization and attention to detail Previous managerial background. Background managing temporary staff and/or call center managerial background wanted. Expert ms word processing and database organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft office suite applications Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively Expertise to develop and leverage new and existing relationships Two or more years of professional expertise (fundraising, sales, call center and/or customer service background wanted) Bachelors degree requiredPosition is temporary, approx 35 hours per week with the potential for professional growth within the organization. Compensation is $17 per hour. All temporary hires are required to register through Oliver Staffing services. Offices are near LAX and free parking is provided.
