The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, particularly in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a preference for those with a background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise and mentor associates in legal matters.Work closely with experts to develop case strategies and support fact development.Assist in preparing for and conducting depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategy.Produce high-quality work products in a timely and responsive manner.Adhere to firm policies and practices, maintaining high ethical standards.Requirements:JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.Admission to practice law in California (CA).Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Research and problem-solving abilities.Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.Management skills to supervise and mentor junior associates.Education and Certifications:JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.Admission to practice law in California (CA).Candidates with additional qualifications such as an MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degree are encouraged to apply.Skills:Strong academic credentials.Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.Good business judgment and persuasive communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Location and Benefits:Location: Palo Alto, CA.Benefits: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
