About the Role Paralegal will work on apart a team of paralegals with cases divided among 5 attorneys to ensure efficient and timely processing of all duties associated with the cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of their cases. This role involves providing essential support to our attorneys, managing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient handling of injury claims. Duties include: File pleadings Schedule hearings Coordinate depositions Sending and replying to discovery requests Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible Coordinating deadlines and filing requirements for multiple clients Main point of contact with clients, e nsuring clients are informed and receive correspondence and pleadings timely Organizing and analyzing information Cross-checking and validating information Other responsibilities as needed and assigned Requirements 2+ years’ experience in paralegal work 2+ years’ experience in the personal injury field Paralegal certificate required (experience in the field accepted in lieu of certificate) Excellent phone and email communication skills Self-motivated Adhere to deadlines and willingness to work late if necessary to meet an urgent deadline Ability to prioritize most urgent tasks Knowledge of FileVine or comparable case management software Spanish speaking, Vietnamese speaking, or knowledge of American Sign Language a plus Salary and Benefits up to $32.00 per hour based on experience, plus closed case bonuses 40 hour, Monday-Friday work week 401K Match Paid time off Eligible for Euphora Health Direct Primary Care membership paid by employer Our office is well setup for remote work, 30 days initial in-office work required, hybrid/remote work subject to successful trial period Firm pays membership to State bar of Texas Paralegal Division Firm pays training and fees associated with Paralegal becoming a Notary Public Powered by JazzHR
