UESI has an immediate opening for an Intern Technician in our Fort Pierce, FL, to support the Manatee Protection Systems. For more information, visit: www.uesi.com Responsibilities: Equipment Testing: Conduct thorough testing of electronic components and systems to identify and diagnose malfunctions. Troubleshot and repaired electronic equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install electronic systems according to technical specifications and engineering instructions. Collaborate with engineers to ensure the accurate assembly of complex electronic circuits and systems. Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance on electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance. Calibrate and adjust electronic components to meet established specifications. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs, tests, and maintenance activities. Create and update documentation for electronic systems. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of electronic systems. Conduct inspections to identify and rectify defects or discrepancies in electronic components. Qualifications: Associate's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field preferred Problem-Solution oriented; ability to effectively research and comprehend complex problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions. Prior service US Military with an electronics or marine related background desired but not required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to present recommendations, ideas and concepts in a professional manner utilizing supporting software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD and PowerPoint Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Work Conditions: Relocate to the Fort Pierce, Florida area. On-call availability as required. Capable of functioning effectively in either a field or office environment for extended periods of time. Overnight travel may be required
