Our busy dental practice is growing, and we need someone who can provide high-quality dental services to our clients and assist our dentists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a current CDA/ RDA license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records• Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment• Get treatment rooms ready for for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials• Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures• Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use• Help dentists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off instruments, and ensuring chairside accessibility to the team Qualifications: • Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed• Current BLS/CPR certification is required• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred• Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required• Have a positive attitude• Must be able to work well with the other members of the team Compensation: $40,000 yearly About Company: We are a private family dental practice.
