This position is hybrid - Tuesday - Thursday in the New York Office and Monday and Friday work from home. Job Summary We are seeking an Associate, Communications, to support our Global Benefit Solutions (GBS) and Group Membership Association Division (GMAD) business. Reporting to the Senior Associate, GBS & GMAD Communications, this individual will be responsible for supporting several internal and external communications initiatives for GBS and GMAD. Role Responsibilities Serve as a business partner to support both internal and external communications deliverables for GBS and GMAD, which provide a variety of group and voluntary benefits products and services. Assist with the execution of communications plans that drive positive outcomes for GBS and GMAD; raise the profile of the businesses among various internal and external stakeholders; and deliver both proactive and reactive support. Assist with, and execute on, communications deliverables for the heads of GBS and GMAD, including scheduling and preparing for various leadership communications events (small group meetings; town halls; etc.) and external speaking opportunities. Write and edit various communications plans and materials, including leadership messages, press releases, intranet content, speaking points, video scripts, social media content, and presentations. Assist with reporting, including analyzing intranet usage statistics, preparing and delivering employee pulse-surveys, and helping to manage earned and social media metrics. Contribute to a broader calendar of communications deliverables for the team. Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Communications, including Corporate Design, Editorial, Digital, Video/Meetings, Content Strategy, and Employee Social Engagement. Required Qualifications 2-4 years of corporate communications experience, preferably in a Fortune 500 company or communications agency serving the financial services industry. Collaborative team player with experience participating in high-profile cross-functional projects. Well organized with strong attention to detail, delivering high-quality work on time and according to expectations; flexibility to manage changing requirements with short turnaround time. Proactive, with strong project management skills and a demonstrated focus on consistency. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure. Excellent writing, listening, presentation, and storytelling skills. Bachelor's degree in communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
