This role is perfect for a young professional looking to grow and take on new challenges in the government contracting space. As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the life cycle of various contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the strategic goals of the company. If you are a self-starter with a proactive mindset and a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Contract Life Cycle Management: Oversee all stages of contractual matters, including awards, modifications, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. Primary Interface: Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related communications with internal and external stakeholders. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms to manage risk levels and develop solutions that align with both NetCentrics and customer interests. Compliance and Administration: Ensure successful administration of contracts, including setup, execution, change management, dispute resolution, termination, and closeout. GSA Schedule Management: Lead modifications, renewals, and acquisitions of GSA schedules. Performance Monitoring: Audit and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Reporting: Prepare and issue reports on contract activities, financial interests, and compliance status. Proposal Support: Review and approve representations, certifications, and subcontracting plans for business proposals. Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry developments, and communicate these to key stakeholders. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead implementation efforts. Government Reporting: Manage government reporting and compliance filings, including SAM registration, GSA schedule reporting, FSRS reporting, ESRS reporting, CPARs ratings, and FOIA requests. Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives with senior leadership. Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special projects as requested by senior leadership. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree desired. Experience: 3-6+ years of relevant work experience in government contracting. Specialized Knowledge: Strong experience managing GSA schedules is highly desired; in-depth knowledge of FAR is essential. Skills: Self-starter with the ability to think proactively and anticipate the needs of the CEO.
