Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for a Security Officer in Staten Island, NY. RATE: 17.00-17.50 per hour SHIFT AVAILABLE: Saturday - Wednesday 2pm-10pm BENEFITS: Paid Time Off ( PTO) Medical Plan Vision Plan Dental Plan 401 K Life Insurance Career Development Opportunities Referral Bonuses RESPONSIBILITIES: Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 years of age. High School Diploma / GED required. 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required. Valid NYS Security Guard License. Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form. Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position. Military experience a plus Protective security experience a plus.
