Business Analytics Senior Advisor

Description:
Working within the Customer and Clinical Analytics department, this position will independently perform opportunity analysis of emerging opportunities, advise leaders on improvement opportunities for existing programs, and collaborate with data engineering and data science teams for automation. Responsibilities: * Collaborate and guide junior team members in completion of work. * Define problems based on general needs and advise on potential analytic approaches. * Independently deliver presentations for both technical and business audiences. * Extract health care data (diagnosis, procedures, laboratory, insurance operations). * Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to evaluate projects. * Create data visualizations to communicate findings. Qualifications: * Strong analytic proficiency using Python, R, or SAS * MS or PhD in a related field (Social Science, Epidemiology/Public Health, Statistics, Applied Math) preferred but not required * Ability to extract data using SQL tools from large databases * Independently perform matched case-control evaluations * Minimum 5 years of analytics experience If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 - 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
