As the Global Real Estate Digital Platforms and Data lead, in the Chief Administrative Office you will be responsible for tech and data strategy, governance, Real Estate platforms and innovations. You will oversee Global Real Estate (GRE) technology platforms (PMweb, Co-Star etc.), set strategic direction for the GRE technology roadmap, maintain a service-oriented relationship with key leaders and stakeholders in GRE to ensure the technology platforms serve their needs and are properly maintained/supported, lead internal and external RE product teams including system admins and data analysts, liaise with CAO & Technology partners to execute against data governance strategy and initiatives. Technology platforms include those supporting GREs Portfolio Management, Property Management, Design & Construction, and Regional/Site Services functions. This role reports into the GRE Chief Operating Officer and will be based in Jersey City, NJ / New York, NY. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership and project management/execution experience, and the ability to structure, scope and define strategy and to develop solutions to complex problems. The candidate must also possess executive level communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence/drive change across the firm. Very strong analytical skills, and ability to manage tactical and strategic projects in parallel. Experience with reference data management, technology & real estate project management, process improvement and operations management is preferred. The firm has offices and operations in more than 60 countries across more than 5500 properties, totaling approximately 75 million square feet. The Global Real Estate (GRE) team consists of more than 400 employees, executing 13,000 capital projects per year globally totaling nearly $2 billion a year in design, construction, and capital investment. Job Responsibilities: * Serve as the trusted advisor to the Global Real Estate Head, CFO, COO and stakeholders across the GRE Functions, Global Regions, and the firm to influence strategic priorities and delivery of a world class real estate technology strategy, innovation & business planning. * Drive a future state technology, governance, and operating model which would close information / reporting gaps and provide necessary reference data transparency to the firm at both the operational and executive levels within GRE and across LOBs * Set the vision for executing the technology roadmap and data infrastructure for GRE, working in partnership with GRE Technology, Global Technology Infrastructure, CAO Chief Data Office and GRE business leaders. Act as primary liaison between the GRE and Global Technology leadership teams * Work with GRE stakeholders to set new approaches for leveraging existing technology, drive automation and pilot experiments to improve processes, and promote solutions at scale across the firm. Partner with and advise stakeholders to influence strategic priorities, fostering alignment and collaboration across the global organization * Engage with senior GRE stakeholders to provide executive briefings on their technology portfolio health * Drive progress and alignment with CAO Digital Experience and CAO Product & Portfolio Mgmt program objectives * Help define the organizational framework/operating model for centralizing the functional system administration and support for GREs current (global) tech stack. Ensure framework aligns, complements, and incorporates existing CAO models, teams, and strategies. * Leverage business, user, and stakeholder feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to Real Estate technology * Partner with GRE Finance Data Quality team to build quality assurance and data protection processes * Technical Leadership: Collaborate with technical teams and utilize system expertise to influence technology and policy decisions made across the functional organization around architecture, design strategies and standards. Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies. Drives lab activities in support of Proof of Concept. Close partnership with software vendors in developing fit for purpose solutions and understanding strategic roadmaps * Innovation: Propel meaningful innovation and help direct the future of real estate by guiding the strategic technology roadmap for Global Real Estate, identifying opportunities to pioneer new processes and implement long-term solutions for digital transformation in building infrastructure and services, leveraging future-focused technologies and expert insight to simplify operations and personalize workplace experiences. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: * 10+ years of experience in a process re-engineering, project management, program implementation, or change management role * Strong organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills * Results-oriented and strong attention to detail * Project management skills: Proven, extensive day-to-day project management experience, ability to address issues and develop solutions in real time, and ability to drive a project team and external stakeholders toward execution. Extensive experience managing multiple projects/workstreams, meeting commitments in full and on time, and balancing competing priorities * Analytical skills: Highly analytical, with experience in collecting and creating operational metrics to gauge the health of an operations team and the status of a project. Strong ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify and address issues * People management skills: Extensive experience in managing project teams, defining internal roles and responsibilities, and motivating team members to execute on the work plan * Client management skills: Advanced ability to closely partner with senior and line managers and other stakeholders on projects. Given a strong fact base, candidate should be able to maintain a point of view in the face of resistance * Communication skills: Superior written and oral executive-level communication skills, including the ability to quickly adjust messages based on different audiences and agendas, and convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals. * Teamwork skills: Flexible work style, ability to work with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels and to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support.
