Non-CDL Utility Driver Department: Operations Reports To: Transportation Manager Position Location: Littleton Labor Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly Normal Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday Managerial/Supervisory: None Purpose: To join a team of highly motivated operations staff, in the business of providing top notch service to a wide range of industry participants who rent and lease temporary buildings from Triumph, such as containers and "single wide" mobile offices and "multi-unit" modular buildings. You will need to work in a LEAN operating environment, where a team develops commonly understood words and processes to achieve perpetual efficiency improvements. Core Functions and Responsibilities: Driving Duties Deliver 20' ground level containers; deliver 8' wide office and modular trailers; block, level, skirt, anchor, set up stairs in a schedule amount of time. Inspect all equipment for damages prior to delivery and before Record all delivery and pickup activity onto a driver's log and pass in all appropriate paperwork at the end of each workday to dispatch. Fill out daily vehicle inspection reports, including checking fuel, oil, hoses, lights and/or any other visible damage, regardless of any deficiencies. Notify Director of Leasing Operations when truck is in need of service or repair. Clean truck inside and out minimum of 1 time per week. No block, stairs, etc are to be left in any office trailer being returned to Littleton yard; these items are to be unloaded in front of appropriate containers. Call each customer day of delivery or pick up to confirm site and directions. Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. Uniform shirts and boots are required and must be worn. Consistent lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, work in extreme cold and heat. No unauthorized stops, passengers in vehicles, etc. Triumph phone is for company use only. Understand Company policy and FHWA laws that apply. Also responsible for adhering to company safety policy which is put out by Operations Manager. Will also attend weekly safety meetings held by Operations Manager. Safety Equipment, triangles, fire extinguishers, flashlights, spill containment, etc. must be always in vehicle. Responsible for company issued tools Chock blocks, hard hat, sledge hammer, levels, etc. Also responsible for own tools and toolbox's (drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, tool boxes, etc). No pick up of equipment with material without inventory check for hazardous material. After determining contents contact dispatch for approval. Always greet customer when delivering equipment and THANK THE CUSTOMER once the delivery has been completed. Communicate with dispatch in the event of a problem. Always use caution and the safest method to complete job. Immediately report to supervisor any and all accidents/incidents involving personal injury no matter how slight or seemingly minor. Immediately report to supervisor any and all injuries/accident/incidents involving persons or damage to property/equipment/tools, no matter how slight or seemingly minor.... failure to do so may result in termination. Use and maintain properly all the safety and/or protective equipment that the company provides. Report to supervisor any unsafe conditions or practices that they have observed. Perform errands - pick up of parts, etc. as needed. BE PROFESSIONAL Shop Duties Clean and repair office trailers and ground level containers so they are ready to rent Work under the direction of yard foreman or operations manager. Report low inventory of materials and cleaning supplies to supervisor. Help maintain grounds, shop and storage containers with supplies in them to keep a safe and hazard free work environment Report to supervisor when units are clean, repaired and ready for rent. Help drivers to load and unload when needed Critical Performance Attributes: Must be reliable, punctual and have good sense of direction. Willing to work extra and late hours if necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements: Education Required: High School Diploma Skills Oral Communication Skills Math Aptitude Written Communication Skills Organization Customer Relations Reading Skills Customer Service Experience 2 year driving recommended Certifications Dri ver's license Must have valid forklift certification Physical Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis Must be able to pass a DOT physical every 2 years Other Oversize load and general mechanical knowledge helpfull Work Environment: Construction sites with moderate to high noise levelsPIac259799cac4-29448-34701355PDN-9c583b4d-42ad-47cd-9321-ce2f903a6a18
