As a Supervisor, Operations in Managed Transportation at RXO, you'll harness your expertise in process improvement methodologies and LEAN principles to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Your comprehensive understanding of processing centers, scheduling procedures, and the intricate relationship between Supply Chain and Inbound Logistics processes will ensure streamlined operations and enhanced performance. What your day-to-day will look like: * Apply demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies to optimize operational efficiency. * Implement LEAN principles effectively to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement. * Utilize a comprehensive understanding of processing centers and scheduling procedures to ensure efficient workflow management. * Navigate and manage the intricate relationship between Supply Chain and Inbound Logistics processes to enhance overall operational performance. * Resolve ambiguity adeptly within complex operational contexts to maintain productivity and clarity. * Employ thorough knowledge of the end-to-end process flow from Supplier to Dealer to identify areas for optimization and improvement. * Ensure a safe work environment, free from harassment, drugs, and workplace violence. Promptly document and report any issues, concerns, or incidents to management. What you’ll need to excel: At a minimum, you’ll need: * 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain It’d be great if you also have: * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * Experience working with a Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably Oracle Transportation Management * Experience with process improvement initiatives * Solid leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees. * A willingness to work cross-functionally on multiple accounts. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
