The Senior Director, Head of Product Cyber Security will lead a team of security engineering experts with responsibility for further developing and operating a comprehensive ISRM product security program, including product security architecture, cybersecurity engineering, threat modeling, penetration testing, standards compliance, cybersecurity incident response and the processes and procedures that support these initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Define and implement strategic guidance, oversight and leadership to all product security activities including building, operating and maintaining the ISRM product security program with integration into all business unit Quality Management systems • Ability to influence at the senior level (GOC/VP ) conveying cybersecurity risks to the organization, including executives, engineering teams, regulatory, quality, etc. while ensuring prioritization of cybersecurity in all aspects of product design • Lead the Product Security organization, serving as the LT member across all functions and have deep knowledge of secure design methodologies and the latest methods and techniques in identifying security vulnerabilities, holding business leaders accountable to solve any risks as they are identified • Front-facing technical cyber leadership with partners, researchers, vendors and regulatory agencies, as well as internal senior leaders • Leader of leaders, highly technical engineers and cybersecurity professionals, with a globally dispersed team and several layers of leaders • Drive the development of new tools, insights and understanding of cyber risk and forge partnerships with appropriate cybersecurity partners to keep ahead of threats and risks from the external environment• Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably within computer sciences, technology or engineering; an advanced degree (MBA or MS) is preferred • Minimum of 10-years of people leadership experience is required • Understanding of security frameworks, secrets management, cryptography, authentication and authorization protocols, threat models, tools that identify and mitigate security risk and the standards-based controls needed to demonstrate compliance within these areas • Deep knowledge of the medical device business and connected devices R&D, combined with cybersecurity is strongly preferred • Possesses a strong passion for security in an ever-changing landscape, with the ability to keep pace with threats and cyber-attack trends • Ability to evaluate global standards for product security and identify and implement appropriate business processes and technology to improve security of software and hardware products • Track record of recruiting outstanding talent (technical and leadership aspects) and building high performing teams • Highly effective at leading, mentoring and motivating employees • Must have a results-oriented, self-disciplined, fast-paced and motivated outlook • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and capability to change direction and plans quickly • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including leading multiple projects • Demonstrated ability to process complex information and summarize it concisely in writing and/or verbally, in a professional manner and within a time sensitive environment • Highly collaborative with a desire to reach across the organization to fully understand partner needs and how to meet those needs • Up to 25% domestic and international travel will be required For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
