Job Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $17-19 an hour Shift: Tursday & Friday: 6am-2pm AND Saturday-Monday: 2pm-10pm About Us: Our client is a leading provider of medical devices and is seeking a dedicated security guard to ensure the highest standards of safety and security for their employees, visitors, and assets. They are seeking a diligent and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to join their team and help maintain a secure environment at their facility. Job Description: As an Unarmed Security Guard at a medical device building, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the premises. Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling the building and surrounding areas on foot and by vehicle, monitoring for suspicious activities, and ensuring the safety of our staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas on foot and by vehicle. Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities. Complete daily activity reports and incident reports accurately and promptly. Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and medical emergencies. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid state security guard license (Guard Card) Previous experience in security or related field preferred. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to stay calm and respond effectively in emergency situations. Reliable transportation for patrol duties. Basic knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Capability to perform vehicle patrols. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. What We Offer: Weekly pay every Wednesday.
