Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, JOB SUMMARY:Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to all ages of the life span including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients served by the Food & Nutrition Department. Assumes responsibility for performing inpatient and outpatient diet instructions including food/drug interactions; completes nutritional assessments (Nutrition Care Process); calculates nutritional requirements; assess adequacy of nutrition support and makes recommendations on TF/TPN; participates in community nutrition programs; functions as a member of the health care team; to provide optimal nutritional care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A four-year Bachelors Degree from a program that meets the educational standards established by the Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition Licensure/Registration/Certification: RD credential, or RD eligible status with RD credential within 3 months of hire required and CDN credential required within 6 months of hire Work Experience:1 yr minimum experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred Location: Carmel-PHC 670 Stoneleigh Avenue Work Type: Per Diem Standard Hours: 0.01 FTE: 0.010000 Work Schedule: Day 8 Work Shift: 9-5:30 / 4-8 Org Unit: 1208 Department: Dietary Exempt: Yes Grade: S9 Salary Range: $27.9100 - $51.8300 Hourly Working conditions: Essential: * Some manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity * Little or no potential for occupational risk * Generally pleasant working conditions.
