ABOUT THE JOB Hawaii Preparatory Academy is seeking a part-time Isaacs Art Center Assistant to provide essential support to the Director of Isaacs Art Center. This role involves a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Art Center. Key Responsibilities: Typing and distributing reports and correspondence Maintaining files for the Director Assisting with cataloguing art pieces Maintaining donor and customer databases Assisting in the production and maintenance of the Art Center website Placing art pieces on the Ask Art website Writing biographies of artists and descriptions of art pieces Greeting Art Center visitors and assisting customers with questions Arranging for the crating, mailing, and delivery of art pieces Maintaining the calendar of Art Center events Assisting in hosting Art Center events Preparing art for the annual Alu Mai Financial Aid Auction Performing additional duties as assigned Working Conditions: The role is generally performed in an open-air office setting, involving extended periods of sitting and typing. Responsibilities include frequent walking between the gallery and Visitor Center, packing and receiving items, and running short errands in town.
