Employbridge Search has a client in Irvine, CA who is looking or an HR Manager to join their team. This is a start-up company who needs someone who will roll up their sleeves and help build out the company. It comes with competitive salary, great benefits and room for growth! RESPONSIBILITIES: * manage full cycle recruitment process. This includes creating job descriptions, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding new employees. * Create, implement and manage strategies to attract and retain top talent. * Maintain a positive work environment by working with employees on any concerns they may have, as well as resolving any conflicts that arise * Create, gather and compile employee surveys and manage regular feedback session to improve employee satisfaction and retention. * Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, including goal setting and performance reviews. * Work with managers to identify training needs, as well as create training session to help employees gain skill sets and be successful in their roles * Ensure company is in compliance with employment laws * Update HR policies and procedures as the employment laws and regulations change. * Manage employee benefits and compensation programs. * Align HR strategies with business objectives and develop initiatives to support company goals. * Analyze HR metrics to identify areas for improvement. * Maintain HR information systems and ensure accurate record-keeping. * Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to senior management. * Other duties as needed QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required. A Master's degree is a plus * Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a huge plus, but not required * 7 plus years of HR management experience. * Experience creating and implementing HR policies and procedures * Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications. * Capable of growing and leading a team * Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * In accordance with California laws, the expected salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education.
