Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide vital day-to-day customer support and service delivery to the enterprise client technology devices that support transformative environmental and health research. This position supports a team of user support staff who fulfill tier 1-2 user requests, troubleshootin g, new equipment, desktop/client c onfigurations, and moves/adds/cha nges. What You Will Do: * Respond to and diagnose problems through discussion with users, which includes troubleshooting, fault rectification and problem escalation. * Provide effective and timely resolution of users' problems, queries, or complaints. * Develop clear, concise documentation of user requests, resolution, challenges, etc. * Assist in hardware and software evaluation and recommend upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure. * Effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse stakeholder community, technical staff, business users, and government officials. Required: * 1+ years of work experience and/or University degree (BA/BS) in a closely related field. (Information Technology/ Cybersecurity/ Management Information Systems) * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. Due to federal requirements, applicants must provide proof of United States citizenship. * Must be located in the Morrisville, NC area and able to commute to the on-site location.
