Veteran Wanted - Heavy Equipment Operator in Orlando, FL We are currently seeking a motivated veteran to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Orlando, FL. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery, such as dozers and loaders, to move materials and support our construction operations. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to maintaining a smooth and productive workflow. Position: Heavy Equipment Operator Location: Orlando, FL Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, excavators, and graders, to perform various tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling. Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, move earth and other materials as required. Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues or safety concerns. Operate equipment following established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols. Collaborate with construction team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet project deadlines. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to keep it in good working condition. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations. Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently. Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or incidents immediately to supervisors. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply, bringing their valuable skills and dedication to the role. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, or related machinery. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
