Warehouse Team Lead We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to join our dedicated team at KT Tape. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal operations of our warehouse and leading a team of warehouse associates. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth functioning of internal logistics, inventory management, and material handling processes within the warehouse . Must be available to work full-time (40 hours a week Mon-Thurs 8 am to 6 pm) and willing to work overtime based on business necessity. What you will be doing: Supervise and provide leadership to a team of warehouse associates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources, training, and guidance to perform their duties efficiently. Coordinate and prioritize daily workflow, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to optimize productivity and meet internal operational goals and deadlines. Attend any/all company meetings relating to this position. In addition to the Team Lead tasks, this person will also be expected to perform all tasks assigned for a Warehouse Worker: Work on the pick/pack/ship lines with consistent speed and accuracy Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping Meet the deadlines of individual shipping tasks during shift. Work cooperatively with the team members to meet quotas and goals. Operate warehouse hardware and equipment (depending on training received) Maintain a clean and safe work area; observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. Follow all written and verbal instructions, including compliance to all procedures and processes. Verify if items picked from bins and physical locations are correct. Pack and prepare goods for shipment, including ensuring any labels are accurately applied to shipping cases. Check to ensure containers are damage free. Perform inventory counts as directed. Remove completed or defective products, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks. Work on other special projects or areas as directed when needed. What we expect from you: Our ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of experience working in a warehouse/production environment. They must also possess a working knowledge of NetSuite, PaceJet and Microsoft Office. Good communication skills are required along with the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. This candidate must be capable of reading and understanding shipping documents and safety manuals and able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis. In addition, this candidate must be able to operate pallet wrapper and forklift (Forklift requires training and certification).
