Laser Welder (Secret Clearance Current or Past)Location: Chelmsford, MA (01824)Job ID: #694332Pay Range: $30-37Required: US Citizenship & ability to get Secret Clearance1st Shift Hours 6:00am to 4:30pmWork with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.Seeking a skilled Laser Welder.Responsibilities include:-Performing Laser Welding of Microelectronic Assemblies to create: -hermetic seals utilizing automated machines -Leak checking -Operating vacuum ovens and thermal chambers -working with mechanical presses, inert gas mixture gloveboxes, and solder vacuum furnaces.Additionally, troubleshooting of assemblies that do not pass leak checks and other various microelectronic assembly work will be part of the role.Basic Required Qualifications:* (3) Three or more years of experience Operating Laser Welding Equipment for Hermetic Sealing * Ability to work under a Microscope for extended periods * Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings * Computer skills for retrieval of drawings, work instructions, and other job activities * Ability to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments * Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly without compromising quality * Active or Inactive secret clearance * First Shift Hours 6:00am to 4:30pmDesired skills:* Ability to work in a diverse team environment * Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills * Experience with J-STD-001 * Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment * Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices * Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environmentBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
