Position Summary: FPU is seeking a Vice President of Student Affairs (VPSA) to work with the President’s Cabinet, as well as all staff and faculty, in support of 1000 undergraduate residential students, many of whom are student-athletes, and over 500 graduate students at the Centers studying in hybrid programs throughout the U.S. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, the VPSA serves as Chief Student Affairs Officer for the main campus and is responsible for daily management of all student life-related elements, as well as development of a strategic vision for comprehensive student services planning and programming, initiatives to support student retention, policy development, compliance with Title IX, and budget development and management, which includes, but is not limited to: Student Involvement, Student Health Services, Student Conduct, Student Housing and Residential Life, Counseling and Outreach Services, and Campus Safety.  The VPSA will build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships within Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Alumni and Parent Relations, Athletics, and members of the local community. As an unbiased advocate for all students, the VPSA will refine and deliver, with the Student Affairs team and others, a collaborative and coordinated co-curricular program.  In addition, the VPSA will aim to intentionally promote a campus climate that supports diversity, civility, mutual respect, and high academic, personal, and social standards.  Relocation reimbursement is available, and while this is an on-campus position, a flexible work schedule is possible.
