The ideal candidate should possess big firm experience, a strong academic background, superior drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to take on significant project responsibility in a fast-paced environment. They should be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred. Duties:Negotiate and draft various real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and development agreements.Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related memoranda.Assist with real estate closings and oversee the closing process.Advise clients on real estate development projects, including public-private partnerships.Provide legal support and advice on joint ventures and other real estate investment structures.Research and analyze complex legal issues related to real estate transactions. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred; admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity may be considered.2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development.Experience with public-private partnership projects is advantageous.Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications and Skills:Admission to the Illinois Bar (preferred) or eligibility for admission to the Texas Bar.Experience in commercial real estate transactions, including financing and development.Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate documents.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Commitment to delivering high-quality work and client service.
