GovSG is looking for a highly skilled Senior SolarWinds Systems Engineer to support the Naval Enterprise Network Engineering effort in San Diego. This is a hybrid position reporting on-site to San Diego location. Position Duties: In this role, the SolarWinds Systems Engineer will focus on designing, implementing, maintaining, and configuring the SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Server and Application Monitor (SAM), and other Orion components, including Network Configuration Manager (NCM), Storage Resource Monitor (SRM), IP Address Manager (IPAM), Web Performance Monitor (WPM), Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA), and Virtual Manager (VMAN). As the SolarWinds Systems Engineer, you must be able to work effectively with the enterprise architects and engineers for technologies such as Splunk, VMWare, or OS, create and provide training to operations teams, develop guidelines and documentation, and serve as a subject matter expert for the SolarWinds monitoring solution. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience designing and implementing technologies for the monitoring and automation of enterprise datacenters 5+ years of experience managing a Windows Server based IT infrastructure 3+ years of experience with SolarWinds Orion products 3+ years of experience with mid- to enterprise-scale networks 2+ years of experience in an operations role Experience architecting, designing, securing, installing, troubleshooting, and documenting integrated server or network solutions Must hold Secret level security clearance Ability to support on-site delivery and collaboration with government stakeholders at minimum 1 day a week. (with likelihood for growing onsite requirement as stipulated by govt client) HS diploma or GED with certifications and 5+ years of networking experience IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, Windows OS, or CCNA Certification (for CSWF compliance) Desired Qualifications: Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform Experience with virtualization technologies Experience with cloud-based technology Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting Experience with network engineering STEM Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or Engineering IAT Level III with CASP or CISSP Certification Special Requirements: Must be in commutable distance to San Diego, CA. Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to possess an active DoD secret clearance at the start date. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Salary: $135,000-$150,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
