They use cutting-edge technologies and operate at speeds that push other pieces of the grid to go faster.As a Drafter in Engineering Services a typical day might include the following: * Retrieving information to complete drawings, layouts and designs including technical specifications. * Preparing CAD drawings and other project documentation from detailed markups. * Assisting in reviewing design documents under the direction of a technical lead. * Developing and maintaining an acceptable level of expertise in SEL and industry design practices. * Following established processes and using available tools. * Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.This job might be for you if possess the following: * Associates degree in EET, CAD, Drafting, or relevant discipline; or possess equivalent experience for each academic year * Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products * Demonstrated competency in CAD drafting (AUTOCAD or Microstation) * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Experience working in project teams * Electrical utility, consulting, or system integrator experience * Knowledge of protective relay applications and/or automation applications * Knowledge of SEL relaysLocationThis position is located in King of Prussia, PA. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
