The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in various legal proceedings, and mentor junior attorneys.Job Duties:Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients.Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other legal proceedings.Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.Supervise and provide mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff.Manage multiple projects and cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are exceeded.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar or willingness to take the Bar Exam.Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in a law firm setting.Strong research, writing, communication, and negotiation skills.Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team environment.Preferred Skills:Experience in a specialized area of law relevant to the firm's practice areas.Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
