JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include ensuring the completion of all daily goals within the Service Department. This involves testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing analog/digital consoles systems, as well as associated hardware. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Console systems and associated hardware/software. Continual use of our ERP Software to proficiently track, manage, document and prep company owned assets. QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the Technical Service Manager. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict deadlines. Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priority. Ability to understand and present information/ideas in writing, in person, or over the phone. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Ability to solder/desolder surface mount components. Basic computer/networking skills Basic Electronics knowledge Proficient understanding of analog/digital consoles and signal flow; as well as Clair Global Touring Packages. Knowledge of Avid, Allen & Heath, DiGiCo, Midas, SSL, and Yamaha mixing consoles Knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations Knowledge of Waves Soundgrid Systems and Plug-ins Knowledge of Universal Audio Plug-ins Knowledge of digital audio protocols (MADI and Dante) Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Excel in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Continual use of our ERP Software to proficiently track, manage, document and prep company owned assets. Support the Console Department Technicians, road staff, and RITs. Test/maintain/repair console systems and associated hardware/software. Trouble-shoot full console systems in person, over the phone, and in writing.
