The Role: As a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager, you'll be the face of our client's company, engaging with potential clients and showcasing the value of our client's services. Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting site visits to assess clients' landscape maintenance needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborating with maintenance and design teams to develop comprehensive proposals and estimates. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty - ensuring they renew their contract year after year. Diagnosing and suggesting treatment for various lawn, tree, and shrub diseases and pest issues. Skillfully utilize and comprehend various technological tools relevant to the landscape industry. Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning industry-specific software, dedicating time to expanding software proficiency, and readily seeking additional information when needed. Acquire a comprehensive understanding of sales and financial reports, leveraging this knowledge to make informed business decisions. Continuously seek opportunities to deepen understanding of sales and financial analytics, displaying a willingness to ask for clarification or guidance when required. Organize and optimize daily schedules to ensure availability in-office for task completion, client responsiveness, and fostering positive relationships with production and support team members. Requirements: To thrive in this role, you'll need: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the landscaping or related industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. A passion for landscaping and a keen eye for design aesthetics. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Capable of diagnosing and recommending treatments for a range of lawn, tree, and shrub diseases and pest infestations. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bonus Skills: Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), industry-specific software, design programs, or estimating tools is highly advantageous. Fluency in both English and Spanish is an additional asset, enhancing communication capabilities within diverse clientele and workforce.
