Job description: Janitor Reports to: Safety Coordinator Job purpose: The janitor position performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas and other building interiors. Job Benefits: $18-$19/HR starting wage 401k with Matching Medical, Vision, Dental insurance Pet Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Set schedule weekdays M-F 0700AM - 0300PM Job responsibilities: Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks Communicates effectively with management Assists the administrative department as needed Maintains records given by management Follows safety guidelines and uses caution in proper lifting Manages the waste management of the company Maintains, mixes, and distributes chemicals for cleaning to department leads for daily cleaning of production areas Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
