Job Summary This role is part of our Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) team and will partner closely with the Sr. Director, Enterprise Talent Management to deliver the enterprise talent planning process and manage proactive Succession Strategies across Comcast Cable & Corporate. This high exposure role works closely with ETM leadership, the TM Council, the TM Community, the Workday technology team, and Executive Search to deliver enterprise-wide talent and succession planning, build & maintain pipelines to support internal mobility strategies, and deliver data-driven insights on the health of our succession strategies.The right candidate is comfortable in a high touch environment, where they are simultaneously leveraging partnerships to identify how to constantly improve existing process and manage unique one-off operational situations which arise when supporting the highest leadership levels of the company. An ideal candidate will have an understanding and passion for the Talent Management function, including the tools, technology, data, and processes. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a proven consultative approach, strong listening skills, change management experience, and organization skills. Job Description CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Program Management & Operations: Partner on the design and implementation of Director+ talent and succession planning processes, technology, and tools Work with cross-business partners to develop interactive, easy-to-understand talent planning and succession planning toolkits for TM, HRBPs, and Leaders Partner to ensure user accessibility and simplicity of tools through iterative prototyping Work as project manager and primary point of contact for selected enterprise initiatives (i.e. Talent Management Council) Coordinate efforts to actively maintain and utilize talent information, including profile updates, succession pool maintenance, and executive summaries to report on progress Partner with TM, Data & Reporting to report on key succession metrics to monitor effectiveness and pipeline health Partner with TM, Data & Reporting to synthesize organizational talent data and trends into compelling executive reporting, inclusive of recommendations to enable fact-based talent decisions Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage technology for both simplification and experience. Partner with team members, internal clients, and other departments to both maintain and continually review/improve all processes Foster a consultative environment across internal and external partners. Succession Management: Partner with ETM leadership and TM Council to actively maintain and utilize talent information coming from proactive pipeline strategies. This includes maintaining pools & plans, creating documentation including summaries or reporting, tracking activity, and measuring progress. Examples of strategies include: Catalyst, Critical Talent, Enterprise Succession Pools Work with Executive Search & Talent Management to ensure the right talent is represented on internal slates and succession strategies Coordinates activities related to Executive Talent Planning Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork. Continuously enhance TM operational excellence through external research and introductions of new frameworks, innovative technologies, and streamlined workflows Communications & Change Management Builds and maintains relationships with Talent Management Community and COE partners and provide support for TM processes Lead working groups to gather feedback and optimize frameworks Identify and address barriers to adoption through communications and learning for critical users Support project management, change management and communications aspects of a variety of initiatives both within team and with our partners Responsible for managing meeting agendas and communications tools (including SharePoint sites) for TM Community, ensuring alignment between resources, education, and implementation Create clear and impactful communications including presentations, training materials and change management plans to drive adoption of talent initiatives Complete ad hoc projects, other duties and responsibilities as assigned Consistent exercise of good judgement and discretion with respect to highly confidential and proprietary company information Preferred work location is in Philadelphia, PA, but potentially open to a remote working location for the right candidate DEMONSTRATED SKILLS INCLUDE: Strong project management skills Excellent PowerPoint skills - ability synthesize and communicate data-backed insights Ability to consult and influence at the leadership level, deal with divergent opinions and competing priorities Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills Capability of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering results Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize projects and tasks while adapting to changing priorities with flexibility and creativity High level of attention to detail and accuracy, while keeping the big picture in focus Comfort dealing with ambiguity, and proactively working to clarify Experience working in a highly matrixed environment Ability to work independently and as an effective and productive part of a team Experience in change management of new programs and initiatives Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products Employees at all levels are expected to: Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
