Practice Area: Personal Injury Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Fort Lee, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury, Litigation, and Trial Attorney to represent clients in various legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation procedures, legal drafting, and negotiation techniques. This position requires admissions to both the New Jersey and New York Bars. Duties:Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings and trials.Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.Manage and oversee legal administrative tasks. Requirements:Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars.Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, legal drafting, and negotiation techniques.Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other relevant resources.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the New Jersey Bar.Admission to the New York Bar. Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency in legal research databases (Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis).Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills. Experience:3-5 years of proven experience in personal injury litigation and trial law.
