For more information, visit rwsglobal.com . RWS Global is currently seeking a Rehearsal Director for their Sea Operations. The candidate will report to the Director of Operations at Sea and should have a minimum experience as a senior manager or supervisor. The Rehearsal Director will have various responsibilities such as scheduling, supervising, interviewing, onboarding, and training employees, maintaining budgets, and creating guidelines. Role & Responsibilities: Creatively look at scheduling of yearly ops, where we can trim, co-teach, split shift etc. Guide and support full time team of 4 and seasonal team of 40+ (including specialty, acro artist/fight directors) for all ongoing operations Vet & interview prospective Show Supervisors for both seasonal and full time Work with talent in the studio for rehearsals, as well as onboard for installs/changeovers. Onboard Seasonal Show Supervisors, Aerial Directors, Fight Directors Train Employees both on the administrative and the creative portions of the job. Ensuring they understand parameters for both RWS, and our clients. Approve weekly timecards Maintain and track budgets for resident direction needs Create, oversea and maintain guidelines and SOPs for rehearsal room/instruction etiquette and documentation Request Uber vouchers for Seasonal Employees Coverage for Resident Production Team when on PTO for any urgent needs Additional Qualifications Ideal candidates also have: Assistant Director or Choreographer experience Dance Captain experience Cruise ship and/or Theme Park experience Experience with StageWrite application Necessary Qualifications A BFA/BA degree in Dance, Theatre, Directing or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience in the entertainment industry working in theatre or live entertainment settings A minimum of 2 years in a management position, preferably within a theatre setting 2 years of experience documenting show related materials Advanced written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient in Excel and MS Office applications A flexible schedule allowing for approximately 35% international travel Motivation, dedication, passion, integrity, collaboration, and self-direction Company Benefits Progressive PTO, Citi Bike membership, Commuter benefits, Health benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision, Pet-friendly office, paid parental leave, 401k with company match, Employee Enrichment Program, complimentary tickets to Broadway/Off Broadway shows and industry events as available, Summer Fridays Estimated Start Date: ASAP Status: Resident (5 days in office) Salary: $75,000 - 80,000 Diversity and Inclusion Statement DIVERSE IS WHO WE ARE Way more than a box to check, diversity is core to RWS Global culture.
