Martin Marietta is hiring Local CDL Class A & B Drivers out of: Apache Junction, AZ, Clarkdale, AZ, Mesa, AZ & Litchfield Park, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Pueblo, CO, Fort Collins, CO & Greeley, CO. A member of the S&P 500 Index, Martin Marietta is an American-based company and a leading supplier of building materials - including aggregates, cement, ready mixed concrete and asphalt. Hiring Local CDL Class A or B Drivers: - Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B IN GOOD STANDING . Position Requirements: - Minimum of one-year vehicle road experience operating multi-speed transmission of a Commercial vehicle. - Valid medical card. - Concrete & mechanical knowledge and experience. - Work Availability - Be available to work six days a week. (Monday-Saturday) - Ability to climb ladders, lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 60 lbs. Position Responsibilities: - Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to the customer in a timely manner. - Perform minor roadside repairs. - Visually inspect mix, slump and verify load sized. - Work closely with dispatch to ensure quickest and safest routes to jobs. - Assemble concrete chutes and operate chute controls during the pour. - Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations including but not limited to: wearing property safety gear and attending safety meetings, perform pre-trip inspections, complete vehicle inspection reports, and report unsafe conditions and accidents.
