On Site in Lynchburg, VA Our client is an employee stock owned company in business for 40 + years and provides design for industrial, municipal, education, commercial and residential projects throughout Virginia. They offer generous benefits and a family-like atmosphere. Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Professional Engineer license (current) is required. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution. Responsibilities: Provide Mechanical engineering through each step of a project from analysis, design, planning and scheduling, construction, startup, and operations. Design, prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for structural integrity and compliance with codes regulations and industry standards. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team including strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation.
