Weekend availability is required and open availability is required. Schedule will vary week to week. Working week runs from Sunday - Saturday. Play a key role in keeping Amazon's commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place Haul Amazon loads (100% no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology. Amazon trailers are 53' dry vans and 53' containers. Intermodal moves will be either from Amazon -> Amazon or Rail yard (BNSF) -> Amazon. State-of-the-Art Equipment: Drive the latest 2022 or newer CNG tractors, equipped with cutting-edge technology for your safety and comfort. New loaded Sleeper trucks: We have new sleeper trucks that include fridge/freezer, TV, microwave, and an APU to keep you comfortable. Follows strict safety standards on road and off road. Interacts with Amazon associates and the general public in a professional manner. Uses technology to manage the delivery process. What are the Basic Requirements? Must be at least 21 years old Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) Must successfully pass DOT Physical Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records No current CDL suspension or revocation Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report Successfully pass a background check Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS Must be comfortable in night driving. Shifts start from 6:00PM - 9:00PM and 10:00PM - 02:00AM TOUR TYPES: SOLO1 = Home Daily (up to 12-14 hour shifts) (single driver) SOLO2 = 1 Night In the Truck (11 hours driving, 10 hour reset in cab, 11 hours driving back) (single driver) SHIFT OPTIONS: SOLO2 only: 1 SOLO2 - GUARANTEED 24 hours - 2 DAYS - $552/wk - $28,704/yr 2 SOLO2 - GUARANTEED 48 hours - 4 DAYS - $1,196/wk - $62,192/yr 3 SOLO2 - GUARANTEED 72 hours - 6 DAYS - $2024/wk - $105,248/yr SOLO1 and SOLO2 MIX: 2 SOLO1 and 1 SOLO2 - GUARANTEED 48 hours - 4 DAYS - $1,196/wk - $62,192/yr 1 SOLO1 and 2 SOLO2 - GUARANTEED 60 hours - 5 DAYS - $1600/wk - $83,200/yr We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
