Practice Area: Litigation - Labor & Employment,Employment Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in Riverside, CA is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience, preferably in employment law. The ideal candidate will defend and litigate lawsuits, advise and counsel employers on employment law matters, and represent clients in various forums. Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency chargesAdvise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issuesRepresent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete casesPossess Class Action/PAGA experience (preferred but not required)Maintain excellent written and oral communication skillsEnsure attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all tasksManage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate strong organizational, time management, and project management skillsUphold professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork within the firm Requirements:Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law schoolExcellent academic credentialsCurrent admission to the California Bar in good standing4-6 years of experience, with a background in employment law strongly preferredUnderstanding of current agency procedures at the state and federal levelsStrong written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to excellenceAbility to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management skills Education:Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school Certifications:Current admission to the California Bar in good standing Skills:Strong litigation skills, with experience in employment law preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to excellenceAbility to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsCommitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork
