This is the perfect opportunity for a nurturing and energetic individual who thrives on creating a fun and stimulating environment. About the Family: This warm and inviting family is looking for a ray of sunshine to brighten their mornings! They have a delightful 3-year-old who is full of energy and curiosity. The parents need some support on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. About the Role: In this role, you'll be more than just a caregiver – you'll be a morning companion for this sweet child! Here's what a typical morning might look like: Arrive at 7:30 am to greet the child and help with a fun and energetic wake-up routine. Prepare and enjoy a healthy breakfast to take on the go Engage in age-appropriate activities like singing songs, reading stories, playing games, or exploring outdoors (weather permitting). Help the child get dressed and prepared for the day's activities. Maintain a safe and clean environment for the child. Keep a detailed log of daily activities and communicate effectively with parents. Help the child get to daycare and speech classes or other scheduled activities The Ideal Candidate: Experience caring for young children (2+ years old preferred) Enjoys age-appropriate activities like singing, reading, and playing games Reliable, responsible, and energetic with a positive and caring attitude CPR and First Aid certified Reliable transportation, a valid DL and comfortable providing transportation (mileage reimbursement available) Comfortable working independently and taking initiative within a set schedule Some experience working with children with speech delays or hearing loss a plus! 3 professional childcare references and a clean record Why Choose Jovie?
