We are looking for a personable, problem-solving, and experienced plumber to join our team. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders, visiting homes and businesses to work on gas and water supply systems, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing fixtures. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand, power, and plumbing tools, and proficient at interpreting blueprints and building codes. Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance and installation of plumbing equipment in homes and businesses • Maintain records of completed projects and parts used • Certify newly installed components properly function• Diagnose and repair problems, including component installation and replacement• Estimate costs of plumbing installation, repairs, and services to customers • Assemble and install plumbing systems• Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems• Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures• Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems• Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making the necessary repairs.• Performing regularly scheduled maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent issues.• Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems• Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems• Prepare written work cost estimates for clients• Adhere to safety policies and procedures• Drain Cleaning experience is helpful Qualifications: • Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification • The candidate must have excellent problem-solving, interpersonal skills, patience and a can-do attitude• Minimum of 1+ years apprenticeship experience under a master plumber required• Attended technical or trade school for plumbing certification• Current driver’s license and clean driving record• Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field• Ability to read blueprints and schematics• Ability to handle physical workload• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $27.51 - $31 hourly About Company: With our worry free repairs and guaranteed work, John’s Reliable Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is the best choice in town!
