Summary We are seeking a qualified teacher to work in our Toddler classroom starting September 1, 2024: Monday- Thursday from 9:15 AM-1:45 PM and Fridays from 9:15 AM-2:00 PM Pay scale beginning at $22 to $25 per hour depending on education and experience. Duties Establish a supportive, positive learning environment Daily communication with families Maintain appropriate and professional standards of behavior Effectively plan with teaching partner Assessments on each child in your program Write weekly newsletter Participate in parent/teacher conferences twice a year Fulfill 1% of their annual hours in Professional Development (PD) Requirements An Associates Degree in ECE required or BA in ECE ideal. Candidates must work well in a collegial team setting, understand developmentally appropriate practice Respect and enjoy children Plan challenging and creative learning experiences, yet be flexible according to the emergent interests of the class Benefits $600 per year continuing education financial assistance available for candidates seeking an AA, BA, Child Development Associate(CDA) or other related ECE credential 403B plan available Possible extended hours for subbing and summer camp paid at an hourly rate
