Personal Injury Lawyer: Pre-Litigation

Our firm is growing, and we're looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You'll handle the cases through the pre-litigation phase with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury, excellent negotiation skills, and an authentic passion for helping people. If this sounds like you, apply today! This role offers the flexibility to work either in-office or remotely, provided that candidates are currently licensed to practice law in Colorado. Responsibilities: --- Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case --- Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary --- Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate --- Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information --- Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Qualifications: --- Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued --- State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory --- Must be computer proficient --- Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required --- Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital About Company: The Matos Law Firm is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services.
