Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Create Technical Drawings: Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software (Revit/Autocad) for HVAC systems based on project specifications. Develop plans for ductwork, piping, and system components based on engineering specifications and project requirements. Ensure drawings accurately reflect dimensions, materials, and installation processes. - Interpret Specifications: Review and interpret engineering sketches, diagrams, and technical documentation to understand project requirements and design objectives.- Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with mechanical engineers, designers, and project managers to develop and refine mechanical system designs and layouts.- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to hvac systems.- Document Changes: Document and track design changes, revisions, and updates throughout the project lifecycle to maintain accurate records and ensure version control.- Review Designs: Participate in design reviews and meetings to discuss progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to optimize HVAC system designs. QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of Associate’s degree or diploma in mechanical drafting, HVAC technology, or a related field.. Equivalent experience also considered.- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and installation practices.- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations governing mechanical design- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and schematics.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.Powered by JazzHR
