Primary Purpose Support Category Teams in all aspects of negotiations including strategy, tactics, prep, and execution. Through negotiations, support local brand strategies, align vendors to precise plans and leverage size/scale. Ownership and accountability of timelines and targets. Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Duties and Responsibilities Build subject matter expertise in assigned vendors and categories. Deliver consistent, accurate, and efficient analysis data points for each negotiation. Mentor and train new analysts on sourcing process. Provide insights/ advanced analytical support to category teams to identify opportunities for growth, investment optimization and savings. Partner with Sourcing Collaboration Lead to identify and execute opportunities. Partner with Economist and Brands on Cost Changes (evaluation, approval / disapproval, tracking and alignment / escalation). Primary interfaces will be CM/CM+1s. Leads will also assist is commercial plan development and Category Planning & Negotiations.
