The ideal candidate should possess strong litigation skills, be capable of independent work, and have a client-focused approach. Duties:Defend insurance companies in legal proceedings.Review, analyze, and draft discovery requests and subpoenas.Conduct depositions and assist in trial preparation.Perform legal research on relevant case law and statutes.Attend court hearings and trials as required.Maintain accurate time records for billing purposes. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in Oregon is required; admission in Washington is a plus.3-12 years of litigation experience.Experience in insurance coverage law and defending insurance companies.Familiarity with motion practice and deposition procedures.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Superior research and writing skills.Ability to analyze complex legal matters effectively.
