If you're enthusiastic about preventative care and making a difference in your patients' lives, we encourage you to apply. -Life Scan Wellness Centers, a nationally recognized medical practice in the field of first responder health, wellness, and fitness, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner at Life Scan, you will play a vital role in our unique, integrated, team approach that focuses on prevention and early detection. -New Grads Welcome To Apply! -Job Summary -Administer 9 non-diagnostic annual screenings per day, Monday through Friday, to public safety personnel. Must be able to work with a team as well as interact professionally with patients. Expected to work full time to achieve top-of-the-line physicals as well as deliver screening results to each patient with follow-up guidance. -This is a contract for 2 months of local work starting in July 8 (Potential option to continue in full-time or Travel capacity upon completion). -Requirements -Education Master's degree (MSN) required Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse PractitionerCertifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice BLS Required ACLS RequiredEssential Functions -Must be able to provide a general health exam. Should be comfortable with giving all general lab work results and guidance for abnormalities. Should be familiar with general cardiology and pulmonology. Expected to work closely with Ultrasound Sonographer and Exercise Physiologist to deliver ultrasound organ and cardiac/pulmonary findings to the patient and department heads when applicable.Key Success Factors Professional and compassionate Energetic with a passion for education and prevention Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized with strong leadership skills High attention to detail Demonstrate ability to use computers and software efficiently as well as troubleshoot software issues -
