Description:This job involves managing quality and food safety at the New Hampshire Facility, leading the plant QA team, and promoting continuous improvement. The role supports various departments and fosters a strong quality and food safety culture. It involves identifying opportunities and risks, driving improvement initiatives, and ensuring the production of quality, safe, and compliant products.This job will have the following responsibilities:Leading the Quality Department s daily operationsImplementing and executing quality and food safety programsCoordinating the local HACCP Team and partnering with Corporate Quality and Food SafetyLeading all customer, regulatory, and third-party quality and food safety auditsInvestigating and responding to consumer and customer complaintsManaging the non-conformance processLeading validation of all changes in manufacturing processSupporting new product and process trials and launchesBeing a member of the Plant Leadership TeamOwning the budget for lab supplies, labor, general supplies, lab services, and pest controlEnsuring compliance with GMP s, SOPs, Corporate Programs & TrainingRequirements/ Skills:BS Degree in Food Science or Nutrition (preferred)5+ years of Quality Management experience in food manufacturingExperience with sanitation oversightStrong knowledge of FDA/USDA/PCQI/SQF or BRCHACCP certificationStrong leadership skills, excellent communication skillsExperience managing a large team
