You will receive a salary, objective monthly performance-based bonuses, plus 50% of the net profit for all business you bring to the firm As a Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury Lawyer at Mike Agruss Law, you will be crucial in advocating for injured people, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve. Responsibilities: --- Manage 100+ cases from start to finish --- Attend court hearings in person and via Zoom --- Argue motions in court --- Take and defend depositions --- Respond to discovery --- Maintain and update files in Litify --- Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff and manage support staff --- Attend mediations, arbitrations, and pre-trials --- Take cases to trial through verdict Qualifications: --- 2+ years of experience as a Workers' Compensation & Personal Injury Lawyer --- Licensed to practice law in Illinois --- Experience with court, contested hearings, depositions, settlement conferences, pre-trials, mediations, and trials When you apply, your cover letter should answer the following questions: --- ---How many depositions have you taken? --- How many cases have you tried (specify first or second chair)? --- How many mediations, pre-trials, and arbitrations have you done? --- Do you own a car?
